Removing an oil filter in a confined engine bay can be a frustrating task when access is limited. The Draper 2749 3-Leg Oil Filter Wrench is specifically designed for exactly these situations, providing a reliable means of loosening and removing oil filters in areas of the vehicle where space is at a premium. The wrench features three legs with a knurled finish that grip the filter housing securely. As the hex adaptor is turned, toothed gears automatically clamp the legs around the filter, ensuring the tool bites firmly without slipping. This self-clamping mechanism makes it straightforward to apply consistent torque without needing to manually adjust the grip. Constructed from chrome vanadium steel, the wrench delivers excellent mechanical strength for demanding workshop use. It is compatible with oil filters between 69 mm and 136 mm in diameter, covering a broad range of common passenger car and light commercial vehicle filters. Supplied as a single tool, it is equally at home in a professional workshop or a well-equipped home garage.
