The Sealey PC40 pistol-type pipe cutter uses a ratchet cutting action to slice through plastic pipe and extrusions cleanly, with a capacity of 6 to 42mm OD, making it suitable for a wide range of common pipe sizes. The die-cast aluminium alloy body houses a heat-treated AUS-8 stainless steel blade that has been honed and shaped for a smooth cutting action, while the textured grip with rubber inlay gives added comfort and control during use. The ratchet mechanism means the blade advances progressively with each squeeze, avoiding the crushing that can occur with scissor-type cutters. The long-life blade is also available as a separate spare part (PC40/B), and the tool carries a lifetime guarantee. Overall length is 210mm.
