Fasteners located in confined or restricted spaces present a common challenge in workshop and assembly work. The Draper Expert Metric Short Arm Ball End Hex Key Set (SKU 4912) is designed specifically to address this, with a short arm profile that allows access where standard-length keys cannot reach. Each key is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered for strength and longevity. A polished chrome finish is applied to help prevent corrosion, and each key is further powder-coated in a distinct bright colour. The colour coding provides immediate visual identification of key sizes, reducing the time spent searching through a set during use. The ball end on each key allows it to be slid into position with greater ease and enables use at up to a 30-degree angle, which is particularly useful in awkward or partially obscured locations. The opposing non-ball ends feature chamfered edges for positive, clean engagement. The set covers nine metric sizes — 1.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 8.0, and 10.0 mm — and is supplied in a fold-out easy-release storage holder that keeps the keys organised and readily accessible. The complete set weighs 2.9 kg.
This short arm metric key set allows easy access to fasteners in small and restricted spaces. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that is hardened and tempered for strength and longevity. To help prevent corrosion, this key set has a polished chrome finish which is also powder-coated with a bright colour. Each colour signifies a different key size for easy identification. The ball end makes it easier to slide the key into position and it can also be used at a 30-degree angle, which is great for difficult to reach areas. The non-ball ends have chamfered edges. Supplied in a fold-out easy-release storage holder to keep the key set organised and ready to use.
