The Sealey AK3037 is a 37-piece metric tap and die set in high carbon steel, designed to cut new threads or clean up existing ones across a range of common metric sizes. Dies feature machined lead-ins for ease of starting, and the set covers taper and plug taps alongside equivalent sized dies in sizes M3 x 0.5 through to M12 x 1.75. The steel die holder accepts sizes M3 to M12 as supplied and is secured with three retention screws. Thread starting and driving is handled by a long-handled adjustable tap wrench with professional type sliding jaw, plus a T-bar type tap wrench for tighter access. Eight HSS drill bits are included in sizes 2.5, 2.9, 3.3, 4.2, 5, 6.8, 8.5, and 10.3mm, along with a screwdriver and a screw pitch thread gauge. Everything stores in a metal storage case for organisation and protection between uses.
