Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened and tempered for maximum strength, the socket is finished with a chrome plating that provides reliable corrosion protection in workshop conditions. The chamfered end geometry allows positive nut location and entry, reducing the risk of rounding or misalignment when working under load. A hole for a driving accessory with a locking pin is incorporated into the design, securing the socket firmly to the drive tool during operation. The socket conforms to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 and DIN 3120/ISO 1174 specifications, confirming it meets internationally recognised dimensional and performance standards for 1-inch square drive tooling.
