Fastener removal and tightening demands a socket that grips precisely and resists the wear of daily workshop use. The Elora Bi-Hexagon Socket, 1/2" Sq. Dr., 17mm meets that demand with a professional-quality construction throughout. Manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered and chrome plated, the socket offers dependable corrosion protection suited to demanding workshop environments. The bi-hexagon (12-point) profile accommodates both hexagon and bi-hexagon fasteners, and the chamfered end allows positive nut location and entry, reducing the risk of rounding under load. The 1/2" square drive is compatible with standard 1/2" drive accessories, and a hole for a driving accessory spring-loaded ball ensures the socket seats securely on the drive during use. Manufactured to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 and DIN 3120/ISO 1174 specifications, the socket meets recognised professional standards for dimensional accuracy and performance. Sold loose as a single 17mm unit.
Professional Quality, socket manufactured from chrome vanadium steel hardened, tempered and chrome plated for corrosion protection. Chamfered end allows positive nut location and entry. Hole for driving accessory spring-loaded ball.
