Professional workshop sockets demand materials and construction that can withstand repeated high-torque use without distorting the drive or the fastener. The Elora 24591 Bi-Hexagon Socket is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chrome plated to provide robust corrosion protection for long-term workshop and industrial service. The bi-hexagon (12-point) profile increases the number of engagement positions available when fitting the socket over a nut or bolt head, making it easier to achieve a positive connection in confined spaces. The chamfered end further aids nut location and entry, reducing the risk of slippage during fastening or removal operations. A hole is provided for a driving accessory spring-loaded ball, ensuring the socket is retained securely on the 1/2" square drive throughout use. Manufactured to DIN 3124/ISO 2725 and DIN 3120/ISO 1174 specifications, the socket meets recognised international quality and dimensional standards. It is supplied as a single loose unit, making it a practical addition to an existing 1/2" drive socket set or a straightforward like-for-like replacement. Sold individually.
Professional Quality, socket manufactured from chrome vanadium steel hardened, tempered and chrome plated for corrosion protection. Chamfered end allows positive nut location and entry. Hole for driving accessory spring-loaded ball.
