A chemical blacking finish provides corrosion protection, making the socket suitable for workshop environments where exposure to moisture and fluids is routine. This socket is compatible with air, electric, and manual impact wrenches fitted with a 1/4" square drive. It is supplied display packed, ready for retail or workshop use. Important safety note: only impact-rated sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches. Chrome vanadium steel sockets are not impact-rated and must never be substituted, as they can shatter under impact loading and cause serious personal injury.
