Heavy-duty impact fasteners demand a socket that can absorb repeated shock loads without failure. The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5157) is forged from chrome molybdenum steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chemically blacked to deliver both structural integrity and corrosion resistance in demanding workshop environments. The 6-point socket geometry provides full, positive engagement across fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under high-torque impact conditions. The deep profile accommodates extended or recessed fasteners such as wheel bolts, suspension components, and long-shank fixings where a standard-depth socket would not reach. The 1-inch square drive is compatible with air, electric, and manual impact wrenches, making this socket suitable across a wide range of professional workshop, commercial vehicle, and heavy plant applications. Supplied with a pin and ring retainer to secure the socket firmly to the drive tool during operation. The black phosphate finish provides an additional layer of corrosion protection, keeping the socket serviceable in wet or chemically exposed environments. Draper HI-TORQ® is a registered trademark of Draper Tools Ltd, and this socket is presented as expert quality for professional use.
Expert Quality, 6 point sockets forged from chrome molybdenum hardened, tempered and chemically blacked for corrosion protection. Supplied with pin and ring. These sockets are for use with air, electric or manual impact wrenches. Packed in polythene bag with barcode.
