Standard impact sockets can score or crack alloy wheel nuts and wheel faces, especially on larger 4x4 vehicles where higher torque is common. The Sealey SX030 is a 4-piece Chrome Molybdenum 1/2"Sq drive set, hardened, tempered and anodised for corrosion resistance, with every socket sleeved to protect alloy wheels and nuts from contact damage. The set covers standard fitments with 17mm, 19mm and 21mm sockets, plus a 27mm socket specifically for Land Rover, Range Rover and other 4x4 applications. Sockets are colour-coded for easy size selection and the set includes spare PE sleeves and depth inserts. Supplied in a storage case. Suitable for use with impact tools. Important: these sockets feature an ultra thin walled design permitting a limited torque range. They are suitable only for wheel nuts and are exempt from the lifetime guarantee.
