Cooling system failures are among the most damaging and costly faults a vehicle can suffer, making accurate pressure testing an essential diagnostic step. The Draper 23420 Expert Quality Radiator and Cap Pressure Test Kit is designed for pressure testing the radiators of most popular vehicles, and will also pressure test radiator caps for leakage — addressing both the system and its sealing components in a single kit. At the heart of the kit is a hand pump with a gauge graduated in both bar and PSI, enabling simple and controlled pressurisation via a quick-coupling system. A pressure release pin allows the system to be depressurised safely prior to detachment, protecting both the vehicle and the operator. The 30 colour-coded adaptors are divided into two groups: 20 adaptors allow direct connection to the radiator or expansion tank, whilst 10 adaptors are configured for testing a wide range of radiator caps. The complete 32-piece kit is supplied in a carrying case with display sleeve, keeping all components organised and protected between uses. With broad vehicle coverage and a logical, colour-coded adaptor system, this kit suits professional workshop technicians working across a wide range of vehicle makes.
