The Sealey VS409 Oil Capture Extension Funnel Set is designed specifically to solve this problem. The long-reach 300mm 3/8" square drive extension bar connects to any compatible oil filter wrench (not included) and passes through an oil seal and 1-litre capacity funnel that captures waste oil as it drains, keeping hands and the engine bay clean. A 3/8" to 1/2" square drive adaptor is included, giving compatibility with a wider range of wrenches. The pouring spout on the funnel makes safe, controlled disposal of the captured waste oil straightforward once the job is done. The oil seal and funnel work together to contain spillage throughout the removal process, protecting the technician from contact with hot oil. Weighing just 0.45kg, the VS409 is a practical addition to any workshop carrying out routine oil filter changes.
