The Draper 54044 Diesel Fuel and Water Transfer Pump is designed precisely for these applications, drawing power from a 12V DC supply — such as a car battery, sold separately — to deliver a flow rate of 30 litres per minute. The pump is self-priming, meaning it does not require manual priming before use, and its compact dimensions — 180mm in length with a body diameter of 51mm — make it straightforward to position and handle on the workshop floor or at the vehicle. At 0.57kg (pump only), it is light enough to move between tasks without effort. Everything needed to begin fluid transfer is included in the box. The pump is supplied with approximately 3 metres of PVC hose (25mm O/D), a hose joining tube, a metal hose clamp, crocodile clips for battery connection, and a power on/off lead. The 25mm hose bore is sized to sustain the full 30L/min flow rate without restriction. The input supply is 12V DC, making the pump compatible with standard automotive and plant batteries. The crocodile clips allow a direct connection to battery terminals, and the on/off lead gives the operator clear control over pump operation. The Draper 54044 is supplied in a display carton.
