Transferring large volumes of liquid from drums and barrels demands a reliable, correctly specified pump. The Draper 13420 siphon drum pump operates on a simple pump action principle, moving liquids to levels lower than the pump's installation height without the need for a power source. Designed for use with water-based liquids including soaps, anti-freeze, waxes and detergents, the pump is also suitable for use with AdBlue® and other diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) additives. It is not suitable for use with concentrated acids, acetone, benzene or any flammable liquids. The pump is capable of delivering a maximum flow rate of 22 litres per minute. Supplied complete with a rigid suction tube compatible with 50–205 litre barrels, a detachable flexible corrugated discharge hose measuring 2 metres in length and 19 mm in diameter, and a 50 mm screw bung. The unit is packed in a polythene bag with label. Contents include one siphon drum pump.
