The Draper 83770 Stainless Steel Hand Weeder is designed to assist with the removal of deep-rooted weeds, providing the reach and leverage needed to dislodge established root systems from garden beds and borders. The blade and ferrule are fully hardened tempered and polished stainless steel delivering resistance to corrosion and maintaining a clean sharp working edge through repeated use in soil conditions. The hardening and tempering process ensures structural integrity under the lateral forces involved in prising out deeply embedded roots. The weeder is fixed to a plastic handle fitted with a leather wrist strap providing a secure grip and reducing the risk of the tool being dropped during use. The Draper 83770 is supplied as a single unit.
