The Draper 88797 Carbon Steel Lawn Edger is shaped in a traditional half-moon profile with turnover treads, allowing the operator to apply firm downward foot pressure for controlled, accurate edging along borders, paths and flower beds. The head is constructed from fully hardened and tempered carbon steel with a gun metal grey finish providing the durability and cutting performance demanded by regular garden maintenance work. The shaft is a plastic-coated steel cored design combining strength with a secure grip during use. The handle is crafted from ash with a clear lacquered finish and features a T-bar configuration giving the user comfortable two-handed control and balanced leverage throughout the edging stroke. The head measures 215mm in width making it well suited to producing a clean single-pass edge on established lawn borders. Sold as a single unit.
