The socket features an 80 mm depth to clear the sensor body and cable, with an 8 mm slot machined along its length to allow the wiring loom of heated sensors to pass through freely during use. This design makes it suitable for both heated and unheated oxygen sensors without the need to disconnect or manoeuvre the wiring harness out of the way.
