The Sealey VSE4242 Timing Tool Kit is designed specifically for these engines and covers a wide range of VAG group vehicles including models from Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen. The kit includes locking tools for both types of timing chain tensioner, a tool for the oil pump chain tensioner, and the tool required for removing the camshaft control valve. It also includes the TDC tool and gauge needed to set the engine at top dead centre. Equivalent OEM tools covered are T40011, T40265, T40267, T40271-1, T40271-2, T10170A/1, T10352/T10352/1, and VAS6079. Everything is supplied in a BMC storage case to keep the kit organised and protected between jobs.
