A. The gauge contains 24 blades in total. The 12 metric blades cover: 0.203, 0.254, 0.305, 0.330, 0.356, 0.381, 0.406, 0.457, 0.483, 0.508, 0.635 and 0.660mm. The 12 imperial blades cover: 0.008, 0.010, 0.012, 0.013, 0.014, 0.015, 0.016, 0.018, 0.019, 0.020, 0.025 and 0.026 inches.
A. The blades are offset to give improved access to the engine, allowing the working end of the gauge to reach valve tappet clearances in locations where a straight gauge blade would not fit.
A. Each blade is 95mm long. They are hardened and polished to maintain accuracy over their working life.
A. Yes. Every blade carries both its metric and imperial measurement, so the gauge can be used for tappet settings specified in either unit without needing a separate tool.
