The tool operates via a heavy duty leaf type chain mechanism that wraps securely around the oil filter body. As force is applied, the chain tightens its grip, delivering controlled rotational force without slipping — even on filters that have been over-tightened or are coated in oil and grime.
The remover accepts a 1-inch hex drive or a 1/2-inch square drive, offering compatibility with a broad range of professional ratchets and breaker bars already found in most workshops.
