Inspecting areas hidden deep within an engine, pipework, or vehicle bodywork without dismantling components is a persistent challenge in automotive and maintenance work. The Sealey VS8233A Video Borescope addresses this with a 6mm IP67 waterproof camera head mounted on an 800mm flexible probe with 2-way articulation. Using the attached dial, the camera head angle can be adjusted by up to 350° without removing the probe from the inspection area, giving precise control during engine inspection, automobile maintenance, and pipeline exploration. The CMOS camera features six LED probe lights and a focus distance of 20-50mm for clear, well-lit images in confined spaces. A 70mm TFT colour display is supplied, with 640 x 480 pixel resolution and a mirror flip/rotate function. The included 8GB micro SD card allows up to 9 hours of video recording and up to 20,000 still images to be stored, with footage downloadable to a PC via the supplied USB data cable. The VS8233A is powered by 4 x AA batteries, which are not included.
