The KNIPEX 97 90 17 Crimp Assortment addresses this directly by combining precision crimping, automatic wire stripping, a comprehensive range of wire ferrules within a TANOS MINI-systainer®, a solid plastic storage box that keeps every component protected and immediately accessible at the bench or on site. The assortment is built around two core tools. The KNIPEX 97 53 09 self-adjusting crimping pliers for wire ferrules feature front loading and cover a working range of ² through 10 mm² plus 16 mm². Alongside these, the KNIPEX 12 42 195 MultiStrip 10 Automatic Insulation Stripper handles conductor cross-sections from ² to 10.0 mm², removing insulation cleanly without the risk of nicking the conductor. The ferrule content comprises eight size variants with plastic collar. Five sizes at 14/8 mm dimensions cover 0.5 mm², ², 1 mm², 1.5 mm², 2.5 mm², each supplied in quantities of 200. A 17/10 mm ferrule for 4 mm² and a 20/12 mm ferrule for 6 mm² are each supplied in quantities of 100. The 22/12 mm ferrule for 10 mm² is supplied in a quantity of 50. The TANOS MINI-systainer® housing incorporates two stackable plastic inserts, each containing six trays, uses the T-Loc fastener system for one-handed open and close operation. The T-Loc mechanism also connects the systainer® to a second systainer® unit. systainer® is a registered trademark of TANOS GmbH.
