The KNIPEX 97 90 13 Crimp Assortment addresses that requirement in a single, self-contained package, supplied in a TANOS MINI-systainer® — a solid plastic box with two stackable plastic inserts, each holding six trays for organised ferrule storage. The T-Loc fastener allows one-handed opening or closing of the systainer® with a single turn, the same action connects it to a second systainer® for expanded modular storage. At the heart of the assortment is the KNIPEX Twistor16® 97 53 18 Self-Adjusting Crimping Pliers, a 200 mm tool featuring a rotatable die head and self-adjusting jaw action covering wire ferrules from ² to 16 mm². Nine wire ferrule sets with plastic collars are included, spanning the cross-sections most commonly encountered in panel wiring and control cabinet assembly: 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2.5 mm² ferrules each in 14/8 mm sleeves (200, 200, 200, 200, 150 pieces respectively), 4 mm² in a 17/10 mm sleeve (75 pieces), 6 mm² in a 20/12 mm sleeve (75 pieces), 10 mm² in a 22/12 mm sleeve (50 pieces), 16 mm² in a 24/12 mm sleeve (40 pieces).
