Product Number: 34276
Achieving a reliable mechanical key on interior and exterior plaster and rendering surfaces demands a purpose-made tool. The Draper 34276 Plastering Scarifier is designed precisely for this task, scoring the substrate to create the adhesion profile needed before applying subsequent coats of plaster or render. The scarifier features a 135mm working width, allowing tradespeople and serious DIYers to cover a practical span per pass. Steel tines deliver the robust, consistent scratch pattern required to prepare walls and ceilings for overcoating, resisting the flex and deformation that weaker materials can introduce during use. The polyurethane handle provides a firm, comfortable grip during repeated scoring strokes. The tool is display packed, making it suitable for both trade counter and merchant shelf environments. At 135mm wide, this scarifier suits standard plastering and rendering workflows across domestic and commercial sites, whether keying a freshly floated coat or preparing a repaired section for bonding.
For keying interior and exterior plaster/rendering. Polyurethane handle with steel tines.
