Achieving a smooth, even surface before painting or decorating demands a reliable hand sander that can hold abrasive sheets firmly and withstand prolonged use. The Draper 26847 Hand Sander is constructed from aluminium with a heavy duty EVA base and a polypropylene handle, combining a rigid sanding platform with a grip designed for controlled manual application. The sander accepts standard half-sheet abrasive sheets measuring 115 x 280mm, making replacement sheets widely available and straightforward to source. The EVA base provides consistent contact with the work surface, helping to distribute pressure evenly across the sheet for uniform material removal during paint stripping, surface preparation, and general prepping tasks. Supplied display packed, the Draper 26847 is suited to painting and decorating professionals as well as workshop users who require a dependable hand sanding tool for regular preparation work. Each unit is supplied as a single hand sander.
Aluminium, with heavy duty EVA base and polypropylene handle. Uses 1/2 sheet abrasive sheets (115 x 280mm).
