The Draper 99699 Bonnet and Tailgate Support provides a reliable solution by extending in three sections from 540mm to 1200mm, with a simple twist-to-lock mechanism that secures each stage firmly in position. The prop is compatible with most makes and models of cars and commercial vehicles, making it a versatile addition to any workshop or garage. It is ideally suited to situations where gas struts are leaking or where the original manual bonnet prop is no longer present. Beyond bonnets and tailgates, the support is also suitable for depressing the clutch, brake or accelerator pedals when working alone.Two anti-slip pads are included to keep the prop stable and prevent it from shifting during use. The support is manufactured from weather-resistant aluminium, allowing it to be used reliably in the workshop, in a domestic garage, or outdoors. Each pack contains one bonnet and tailgate support with a maximum extended length of 1.2 metres.
