The tool is constructed with a lightweight aluminium housing and features an ergonomic soft grip handle designed to maintain operator comfort during prolonged use. The aluminium housing and ergonomic design also assist in prevention of the cold-sink effect associated with extended pneumatic tool operation. A 1/4" BSP airline connector attaches to a 360° rotating air inlet, which helps prevent air-lines from kinking during use. The handle incorporates an exhaust outlet, contributing to the tool's low-noise, low-vibration characteristics. The Air Shears operate at 3,200 strokes per minute with an operating air pressure of 90psi (6.3bar) and an average air consumption of 5.5cfm (1,132L/min). The vibration level is rated at 4.3m/s².
