A flat battery at the roadside can leave you stranded, particularly when you are driving a larger-engined vehicle and a standard jump starter simply will not deliver enough power. The Sealey RS102B RoadStart® Emergency Jump Starter is designed for exactly these situations, delivering up to 1500 peak amps and 300 cold cranking amps to start 6-cylinder petrol engines up to 3.5L and 4-cylinder diesel engines up to 3L. The composite case features integral battery clamp storage and a carry handle, making it straightforward to keep in the boot and deploy quickly. A front panel display shows the internal battery charge level and an integral LED worklight is built in for use in low-light conditions. Safety is built in throughout, with reverse polarity and short circuit protection with audible warning, plus inbuilt MOSFET circuit protection. Two 12V power sockets accept any 12V device with a vehicle accessory socket plug, and a single 5V 2.4A USB output is available for charging devices. Cable and clamp length is 0.6m. A mains charger with automatic power cut-off is supplied to keep the unit ready without risk of overcharging.
