A flat battery at the roadside leaves you stranded the Sealey RS1B RoadStart® Emergency Jump Starter gives you the power to get moving again without needing another vehicle. Delivering up to 1100 Peak Amps (280A Cold Cranking Amps) at 12V, it is suitable for starting petrol or diesel engines up to 2 litres and 4 cylinders. The 0.6m cable and clamp set connects quickly, and built-in reverse polarity and short circuit protection with audible warning means you are alerted immediately if the clamps are connected incorrectly. Inbuilt MOSFET circuit protection adds a further layer of safety. The composite case features integral battery clamp storage and a carry handle for easy transport. The front panel displays the internal battery charge level at a glance, and an integral LED worklight is on hand when working in poor light. Two 12V power sockets accept any device with a standard vehicle accessory socket plug, and a single 5V 2.4A USB output keeps smaller devices charged. The supplied mains charger features automatic power cut-off to prevent damage to the unit's battery during charging.
