A flat or failing battery can leave a vehicle off the road the Sealey SPBC16 is a fully automatic trickle charger and maintainer designed to recover, charge, and maintain a wide range of battery types including EFB and AGM stop/start, GEL, lead acid, and lithium batteries. Automatic battery detection selects the correct voltage for 6V, 12V, or 24V batteries as soon as they are connected; manual selection is required for the lithium function, which operates at 12V only. Output charge is 16A at 6/12V and 8A at 24V, covering battery ranges from 40 to 200Ah. Zero-volt charging allows recovery and charging of a completely discharged battery, provided any load has been removed. The intuitive LED screen displays illuminated charging stages, volts and amps output, and battery capacity throughout the process. A 13.5V DC power supply mode supports the battery during prolonged electrical and diagnostic checks, delivering up to 16A. The compact unit features a retractable hanging hook and an integrated cable management system that stores the clamps neatly away when not in use. Cable and clamp length is 1.2m, supply is 230V, IP rating is IP33, and dimensions are 193 x 183 x 80mm. Supplied with a 5-year guarantee.
