The Estwing EGP100 Geologist Paleo Pick is a solid-forged, one-piece construction tool designed for demanding fieldwork in geology and palaeontology. The single-piece forging ensures durability and strength throughout the full length of the pick, eliminating the weak points associated with separate head-and-handle assemblies. The pick features two distinct working ends to cover a range of rock-working tasks. The angled chisel end is suited to prying and lifting rocks, while the pointed tip is designed for breaking, chipping, and cracking open rocks and hard materials. A vinyl grip provides a comfortable and secure hold during extended use. The overall length is 25 inches and the head weight is 1.8 kg. The tool is supplied as a single unit. Draper Tools is licensed to sell this Estwing product in the UK, Ireland and Europe.
