The SIP 01158 is a 10,000W three-phase induction heater designed for heavy-duty industrial applications including pre-heated welded fabrications, heat treatment and manufacturing processes such as metal stress relieving, welding distortion correction and component assembly. Supplied at 400V three-phase input, this plug-and-play unit delivers fast, safe and efficient heat via its 10kW inverter power module.
At the core of the unit is a liquid cooling system that allows the induction torch to safely reach temperatures of 1,000°C within 15 seconds. A 10-litre coolant tank maintains the integrity of the induction coils and keeps the torch handle cool during extended operation, while a flow switch protects the unit by ensuring the correct coolant fluid level is maintained at all times. Water returned from the induction torch enters an integrated six-fan-cooled radiator system connected via a pipe circuit to the coolant tank — a design that maximises both performance and longevity.
The 4-metre induction cable torch features a one-touch trigger and contact heating pad, and the all-electric process eliminates the risks associated with oxyacetylene and other naked-flame methods, offering a measurably safer working environment. Power is adjusted via touchpad buttons across an 8-setting multi-level display, with indicator LEDs confirming mains supply, cooling status and heating status at a glance. The inverter operates across a frequency range of 18kHz to 45kHz, with a 5-metre power cable supplied as standard.
The unit is built on a solid-frame mobile platform fitted with hard-wearing tyres and lockable swivel castors, making it straightforward to position throughout a workshop or on-site. The large internal case supports both heat management and induction performance requirements.
