Reciprocating saws demand reliable power delivery and blade versatility when cutting through structural timber, pipework, or sheet steel — the Draper 55561 D20 20V Brushless Reciprocating Saw is designed to meet those requirements on site or in the workshop. The brushless motor delivers efficient, sustained power with reduced wear compared to brushed alternatives, while the pendulum action and 28mm stroke length work together to drive blades through material faster and with less effort on each cutting pass. A quick-change blade system minimises downtime between cuts, and the saw is supplied with blades suitable for both wood and mild steel, so it is ready to work across common materials from the outset. Cutting capacity reaches 115mm in wood and 6mm in mild steel, with a no-load speed of 0–3000rpm. The tool weighs 2.2kg bare and is not supplied in a case. Power is provided by a D20 20V Li-ion battery, sold separately. The D20 interchangeable battery system allows a single battery to be used across any tool within the D20 series, reducing the need for multiple dedicated battery packs. A compatible charger is also available separately. This product is sold as a bare tool; no battery or charger is included.
