The Draper 10572 Countersink Bit delivers both, with a 90° head that creates accurately profiled recesses for flush-fitting screw heads across hardwood, softwood, and plastics. Manufactured from carbon steel C45, the bit is hardened and tempered to 55HRC, ensuring long service life under repeated use with both hand and power drills. The single finely ground fast-cutting edge removes material cleanly and efficiently, reducing the risk of tear-out on finished surfaces. The bit measures 12.2mm in diameter with an overall length of 50mm. Its 6mm round shank is compatible with drills fitted with a standard 10mm or 13mm chuck, making it suitable for the majority of corded and cordless power drills found in professional workshops. The 90° head angle is the most widely used standard for countersunk woodscrews.
