Cordless angle grinding demands reliable power management and user confidence across a full shift — the Draper 98104 D20 20V Brushless Angle Grinder is engineered to meet both requirements. Its high-performance brushless motor delivers automatic speed and torque adjustment for consistent material removal, while a smooth-start function reduces kickback risk at the point of engagement. Safety is central to the design. Anti-restart protection prevents unintended start-up after a power interruption, overload protection guards the motor under heavy load, and a quick-stop function halts disc rotation rapidly when the trigger is released. Built-in disc adjustment eliminates the need for separate tools during wheel changes, keeping downtime to a minimum. The grinder accepts 125mm discs as standard and is also compatible with 115mm discs, with a 22.2mm bore and M14 spindle thread. No-load speed reaches 8,000rpm and the unit weighs 1.46kg. An ergonomic soft-grip body aids control during sustained use, and the side auxiliary handle can be positioned on either the left or right to suit the operator. Supplied complete with a disc guard, cutting protection guard, disc changing spanner and auxiliary handle. The grinder is part of the D20 multi-tool battery system — the interchangeable 20V battery platform allows a single battery to be shared across any tool in the D20 series. D20 batteries and chargers are available separately. Sold bare.
