The Work Sharp Pivot is a handheld pull-through knife sharpener that sharpens and hones in two steps. It quickly brings any knife to like-new results in seconds, and its compact size stows easily in a pack, pocket, tool box or tackle box.
Step one draws the blade through the 25° Convex-Carbide sharpening blades, which restore a sharp edge. Because this stage is set at 25°, each pass works to the same angle. Step two uses fine grit ceramic rods to hone the blade back to a refined edge, so the routine stays simple: sharpen on carbide, then hone on ceramic.
A third surface, in 320 grit diamond, is there for touching up knives and tools, and it carries a groove for sharpening fishhooks. With carbide, ceramic and diamond in one small body, the Pivot covers knives, tools and fishhooks from a single sharpener. A lanyard hole lets you carry it on a lanyard.
The Pivot is a manual sharpener, so no power supply is needed. It measures 7 x 6 x 2 cm and weighs just 35 g, and the WSEDPVT-I carries a 3-year warranty.
