Flat-bed sanders scorch workpiece edges and struggle with curved profiles, forcing you to switch between multiple machines. The Sealey SM1300 combines an oscillating belt sander and a spindle/bobbin sander in a single 450W, 230V unit, with the oscillating action specifically designed to prevent burning of the workpiece while delivering faster material removal. The tilting front table reaches up to 48° with positive indents at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30°, and 45° for repeatable bevel sanding. Spindle speed is 1,995rpm with an oscillation rate of 60 per minute; belt speed is 470m/min on a 610 x 100mm belt. Five bobbin sizes are included 13, 19, 25, 38, and 50mm alongside drums, washers, throat plates, and a sanding belt assembly, with all parts storing in dedicated slots in the housing. Switching between belt and spindle modes requires only the supplied wrench. A dust extraction port (36/39mm ID/OD) keeps the work area clear, and the 489 x 483mm table provides ample support for larger workpieces. Spindle height is 102mm.
