If you already own the Sealey SM2503A Metalworking Mini Lathe and want to expand what it can do without investing in a separate machine, the SM2503B Drill Head transforms it into a combined lathe, mill, and drill unit. It is easily retrofitted to the SM2503A and creates a space-efficient, versatile lathe mill/drill combination without needing additional workshop floor space. The 150W, 230V motor drives the milling and drilling spindle at speeds between 100 and 1300rpm, with 30mm of spindle travel. Maximum drilling and milling capacity is 10mm. The spindle uses an MT2 taper, the distance from spindle centre to column is 100mm, distance from spindle to table is 180mm, and the T-slot measures 8mm. The head offers the flexibility to handle most materials, making it a practical upgrade for the home workshop machinist or small engineering operation working with the SM2503A lathe.
