The SIP 01946 4" x 8" Belt Disc Sander is a 500W (0.75hp), 230V workshop machine designed for performance across woods, plastics, and non-ferrous metals. Combining a Ø203mm (8") sanding disc with a 102mm x 914mm (4" x 36") sanding belt, it delivers versatile capability for chamfering, angling, shaping, and burr removal in a single unit.
The machine features two adjustable aluminium sanding tables and a mitre guide to support accurate workpiece positioning. A belt tension control lever allows faster belt changes, reducing downtime between tasks. The disc tilts from 0° to 45° and the belt from 0° to 90°, giving a broad range of working angles. An integrated NVR (No-Volt Release) switch provides enhanced safety, and built-in dust extraction keeps the workspace tidy during operation.
