It is built to the Motorola ER/EF design, replacing original-equipment units from Remy (RA00130), Prestolite (110-141, 110-539), and Massey Ferguson across 15 applications spanning Massey Ferguson, New Holland Industrial, and White Industrial machinery.
Constructed to Motorola ER/EF specification, this alternator delivers a 12-volt, 72-amp output with clockwise rotation and is supplied without a pulley — allowing direct fitment to the existing drive arrangement on compatible machines. Being brand new, it carries none of the wear concerns associated with remanufactured units.
The 7473N suits a broad spread of agricultural and industrial equipment from the mid-1970s through the mid-1980s, including Massey Ferguson combine harvesters such as the MF-540, MF-550, MF-740, MF-750, MF-760, and MF-780, as well as New Holland Industrial 1112 and 1114 models.
