The WAI 12260N is a brand-new 24V 25A alternator. It is built to Nikko IR/EF specification, replacing Komatsu original-equipment references including 600-821-5580 and RKD25A04 on Komatsu PC200 and PC220 excavators. It is the direct aftermarket replacement for the Nikko-sourced charging units fitted to these machines from the mid-1980s.
Constructed to IR/EF (internally regulated, externally fan-cooled) design principles, the 12260N delivers 25 amperes of output at 24 volts with a clockwise rotation — matching the OE specification without modification. As a brand-new unit rather than a remanufactured exchange, it carries no core charge and arrives ready to fit straight from the box.
