Product Number: 66041001
The Highway Automotive 66041001 is a 24-volt, 80-amp alternator designed as a direct replacement unit for heavy-duty commercial vehicle applications. Rated at 24 V and 80 A charging current, it is supplied without a belt pulley, meaning the original pulley from the outgoing unit is retained and refitted during installation — a common practice on professional workshop rebuilds of this type. The alternator covers 14 confirmed applications across the RVI Magnum range, spanning engine families including the MIDR 06, Mack-EE9, DXi 12, DXi 13, and MACK E.TECH variants. Models covered include the RVI Magnum AE 385ti, AE 390, AE 420ti, AE 430, AE 470, AE 520, AE 560, and the Magnum DXi 440, DXi 460, DXi 480, DXi 500, as well as the Magnum E.TECH 400, E.TECH 440, and E.TECH 480 — a breadth of fitment that reflects the part's position as a consolidated replacement across the Magnum generation. For installation, note that this unit is supplied without a belt pulley. Always verify engine variant against the fitment list before ordering to ensure correct specification. Use the vehicle selection widget or search our cross-referenced catalogue by machine model to confirm fit, and ask Simon if your engine variant is not listed. Every fitment shown is backed by our Fit Guarantee.
