Product Number: 66011009
The Highway Automotive 66011009 is a 24-volt, 80-amp alternator designed as a direct replacement unit for heavy-duty commercial and coach applications. Rated at 24 V with an 80 A charging current, it is supplied without a belt pulley, making it suitable for installations where the original pulley is retained or sourced separately. Built to meet the demands of heavy-duty operation, this alternator delivers reliable charging performance across the voltage and current specification confirmed by the manufacturer. The absence of a belt pulley keeps the unit compatible with existing drive arrangements, avoiding unnecessary component replacement and simplifying the installation process. The 66011009 is confirmed to fit five applications across three makes: Bova, DAF, and Solaris. Verified fitment includes the DAF CF 75, DAF XF 95, Bova Futura, Bova Magiq, and Solaris Vacanza. This breadth of application makes it a practical stock choice for workshops and fleet operators servicing mixed commercial and coach fleets. Sourced from Highway Automotive and listed exclusively on the PartsForMachines platform, this alternator is backed by a hassle-free returns policy. Buyers are encouraged to confirm fitment using the selection widget or by searching the cross-referenced catalogue before ordering.

A. The Highway Automotive 66011009 is rated at 24 volts with an 80-amp charging current. It is supplied without a belt pulley, so the original pulley from the unit being replaced should be retained and refitted during installation.
A. Alternator testing is not covered in the product source data for this part. As a general workshop guide, most technicians use a multimeter to measure battery terminal voltage with the engine running — a healthy 24 V alternator system typically shows above resting voltage at the battery under load. For specific diagnostic procedures suited to your vehicle, consult the vehicle manufacturer's service documentation or ask Simon before ordering.
