The material is 600-denier polyester over a polyurethane backing: waterproof and oil and mud resistant, made to take the mud, spills and wear a truck driver's seat absorbs across long shifts. Overlocked seams keep the stitching strong along the bolster edges where an air-suspended seat flexes most. Coverage is 360-degree rather than a drape over the top.

Because the cover is shaped to the Grammer seat rather than cut universally, the seat keeps working as built: seat adjusters and suspension travel both remain accessible with the covers fitted, so the seat still rides under load. An armrest cover is included.
