Product Number: 61033015
The Highway Automotive 61033015 Fan Clutch (MEC267) is a replacement viscous fan clutch designed to restore correct cooling-fan operation on Mercedes commercial vehicles. Weighing 3.9 kg and packaged at 240 × 150 × 260 mm, it is built to the dimensional and performance requirements expected of a heavy-duty drivetrain component. As a viscous fan clutch, this unit regulates the speed at which the engine cooling fan is driven relative to engine load and coolant temperature. A correctly functioning fan clutch ensures the cooling system operates efficiently across varying duty cycles — preventing overheating under load while reducing unnecessary parasitic drag at cruising speeds. This fan clutch is confirmed to fit three Mercedes heavy truck series: the MK (all variants), the NG (all variants) and the SK (all variants) — covering a combined total of 3 applications across the Mercedes commercial range. Buyers are advised to verify the precise variant and engine specification against their vehicle before ordering. PartsForMachines supplies this part as part of the Highway Automotive range. The gross weight of 3.9 kg is consistent with a substantial, heavy-duty clutch assembly suitable for the demanding operating environments of the Mercedes MK, NG and SK platforms.
