The Highway Automotive 61011019 (DFC085) is a viscous fan clutch designed as a direct replacement unit for the DAF LF 55 range. Engineered to regulate cooling fan engagement in response to engine thermal demand, it is built to restore correct fan operation and prevent overheating on commercial vehicle applications. The DFC085 reference identifies this as a specific Highway Automotive fan clutch variant, offering a workshop-ready replacement that matches original-equipment function. The unit is designed to deliver reliable viscous engagement, ensuring the cooling fan operates proportionally to engine temperature load and reduces unnecessary parasitic drag when full cooling is not required. This fan clutch is confirmed to fit the DAF LF 55 180/220 across all engine variants, covering the full application scope for this model. The unit ships packaged at 270 × 240 × 180 mm with a gross weight of 3.8 kg, reflecting the robust construction expected of a heavy-duty commercial vehicle cooling component. For alternative fan clutch variants within the Highway Automotive range, consult the full catalogue — the DFC085 designation assists identification of the correct unit for your application.
