Product Number: 28011001
The Highway Automotive 28011001 is an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cooler designed as a direct replacement unit for DAF commercial vehicles equipped with the MX13 engine. EGR coolers are a critical component in the emissions management system, reducing the temperature of recirculated exhaust gases before they re-enter the combustion chamber — helping to lower NOx output and maintain engine efficiency. Fitted to both the DAF CF and DAF XF model ranges running the MX13 engine, this cooler is engineered to restore the thermal management performance of the EGR circuit. A failing or leaking EGR cooler can result in coolant loss, white smoke, rough running, and potential engine damage, making timely replacement essential for fleet reliability and emissions compliance. The 28011001 is supplied under the Highway Automotive brand and is intended for workshop and fleet maintenance use. With two confirmed vehicle applications — DAF CF (MX13) and DAF XF (MX13) — the fitment scope is clearly defined, supporting confident part selection for technicians servicing these platforms. This part is a new listing on PartsForMachines. Fitment data for this product is verified against manufacturer records and backed by the PartsForMachines Fit Guarantee.
