Product Number: TPS-008
The TPS-008 is a throttle position sensor (TPS) designed as a direct replacement for a broad range of European petrol-engined vehicles, covering 152 applications across five manufacturers - Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, Renault, and Dacia - spanning model years 1990 to 2016. Verified fitment includes Alfa Romeo 145 (930) and 146 (930) variants equipped with 1.4 i.e. and 1.6 i.e. engines, with applications confirmed between 1994 and 1996.
The throttle position sensor communicates throttle valve angle to the engine management system, providing the precise input the ECU requires to calibrate fuel delivery and ignition timing across the full operating range. As an engineered replacement component, the TPS-008 is built to restore correct engine management function and eliminate associated symptoms such as hesitation, erratic idle, or poor throttle response.
With 33 OE cross references on record, the TPS-008 is traceable to original equipment part numbers from Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia, and Renault, as well as leading aftermarket suppliers including Delphi, Hella, Lucas, Magneti Marelli, Metzger, Pierburg, Quinton Hazell, and others. A representative selection of cross references is listed in the product specifications; the full catalogue of 33 references is available on request.
Buyers should verify fitment against their vehicle's make, model, engine code, and build date before ordering. The fitment summary and full application list are provided on the product page to support accurate selection.
