The CCL CSS-109 is a crankshaft positioning sensor (CSS) designed as a direct replacement for petrol and petrol-hybrid applications across Ford, Volvo, and Mazda vehicles manufactured between 2000 and 2015. With coverage spanning 125 confirmed vehicle applications, the CSS-109 provides a reliable, workshop-ready solution for engine management faults linked to crankshaft position signal loss.
As a CCL-branded sensor, the CSS-109 is engineered to restore correct crankshaft position signalling to the engine control unit, supporting accurate ignition timing and fuel injection management. The unit is supplied as a finished replacement sensor ready for direct installation.
The CSS-109 covers 125 applications across three manufacturers: Ford (92 applications), Volvo (23 applications), and Mazda (10 applications), with fitment spanning the 2000 to 2015 model year range.
