The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 250/60-MC4 is a professional-grade solar charge controller designed for demanding off-grid and battery-charging installations. With a 60 A maximum charge current and a maximum PV open-circuit voltage of 250 V, the 250/60 variant of the SmartSolar MPPT family is suited to larger solar arrays where high-voltage string configurations are required. Built around Victron Energy's Maximum Power Point Tracking algorithm, the unit extracts the greatest available energy from connected solar panels and delivers it efficiently to the battery bank.
The integrated MC4 connectors allow direct connection to standard MC4-terminated PV strings without additional adaptors. The controller measures 270 mm (L) × 250 mm (W) × 150 mm (H including terminals) and weighs 3.2 kg, making it compact enough for panel or wall mounting within an enclosure. Connectivity via Victron's VE.Direct and Bluetooth Smart interfaces (Victron SmartSolar series feature) enables real-time monitoring through the VictronConnect app.
